Meet Stan-Tattoo Artist at 818 Tattoo Collective

From an early age, Stan loved comics and film, quickly developing a desire to imitate the drawings and characters that inspired him. What began as a childhood pastime gradually grew into a career in tattooing.

 

Before joining the luxury private studio at 818 Tattoo Collective, Stan spent several years working in a busy high-street studio. During this time, he had the opportunity to work alongside a highly respected and established artist, widely recognised as one of the area’s longest-serving tattooists, known for classic, timeless flash and traditional tattooing.

 

This experience gave Stan a strong foundation in traditional tattooing and a deep appreciation for the importance of solid technique. Although he still has a real love for traditional tattoos, Stan is now developing his career further into realism and portrait tattoos, combining a more detailed and contemporary style with the strong foundations of traditional tattooing to ensure longevity and quality in every piece.

 

Stan also has a particular passion for darker, gothic-inspired imagery, bringing a distinctive atmosphere and character to his work.

 

His journey has taken him from tattooing small walk-in pieces to creating tattoos for world-famous footballers, but his approach remains the same regardless of the size or significance of the tattoo. Stan believes every client deserves the same level of care, enthusiasm and attention to detail — whether it’s a small piece or a full-scale project.

 

With no job considered too big or too small, Stan is always excited to take on new ideas and create something that feels personal to each client.
